It all began in 1980. Having just finished an MA in Philosophy, Andrea Moradei, founded Koinè, an Italian language and cultural center, in collaboration with a group of like-minded teachers. This is the moment when our language and cultural programs first started. Then in 1996 we opened the Enoteca de’ Giraldi, which offered a cultural approach to Tuscan gastronomy. From the very beginning, the Enoteca was both a wine bar and restaurant, and a meeting point for anyone interested in wine tasting, cooking lessons, and wine tours. Following these early initiatives, we created Vinarium, a wine and food services agency, with the aim of offering the best of Italian gastronomic culture, whilst at the same time guaranteeing a professional and fun experience to our clients. Today Vinarium provides wine tasting in the best Florentine enotecas, cooking lessons in historical buildings, and guided visits to the best Tuscan wine makers. Now we bring Italian Wines to you – literally – selecting and curating the best wines from Italy, and delivering them to your door !
